Antibodies in carriers
Antibody specificity: D (RH1)
Summary: probably allo-anti-D (last update: Dec. 7, 2020)Detailed information
-
MP Martinez Badas et al. Vox Sanguinis (2007)
- Ab specificity: D (RH1)
- Number (auto- or allo-): 1
- Number listed as allo-:
- Number listed as auto-:
- Number of carriers of the allele assessed:
- DAT: negative
- Autologuous control:
- Elution:
- Autoadsorption:
- Titer: 1 (R2R2 RBC)
- Was anti-LW excluded?:
- Other antibodies detected:
- Cross matches (with Ab and RBCs from different partial types): ND
- Transfusion history: 2 D+ RBC units
- Pregnancy history:
- Anti-D Ig history: after 3rd delivery only
- Context: 4th pregnancy
- Hemolytic consequences: HDN in first pregnancy required phototherapy, anti-D was not detected at the time, nor was it in the second pregancy, for which no adverse events were reported. Imputability of the Ab is unknown.
- Comment: Anti-D was initially only detected by solid phase red cell adherence test; Ab screening was negative by LiSS-COOMBS gel card, PEG tube test: negative, ficine tube test and LISS tube test; Anti-D was subsequently also detected with LiSS-COOMBS gel card
Antibodies in D negative recipients
Alloimmunization in recipients: expected to be possible, see phenotype data
